Discovery-Nutanix.exe
less than a minute
As an alternative to inventory via the wizard, the autonomous discovery module can be used. This is provided as a standalone executable file and generates a result file, which is then imported into Docusnap via File Import.
General information about autonomous discovery modules, standard parameters, and importing result files can be found in the chapter Autonomous Discovery Modules.
For inventorying Nutanix clusters using the Discovery-Nutanix.exe module, the following parameters are required:
- -t: Name or IP address of the Nutanix cluster
- -u: Username with view permissions
- -p: Password for the user
An example call could look as follows:
C:\Docusnap\Discovery-Nutanix.exe -t 192.168.1.50 -u admin -p Password123
The Discovery-Nutanix.exe module must be started via the command line. After the inventory is completed, a file is created in the same directory as the module. This file contains all relevant information about the Nutanix cluster.
