Improvements & Updates

Installation

Network Share Support: Docusnap now supports installation on a network share. A corresponding option can be enabled in the setup on the page where the installation path is selected. The option can also be used for unattended installations. The selected setting is retained for future updates unless actively changed. In addition, the Npcap and Nmap components have been updated to version 1.84 and 7.98 respectively.

Microsoft 365 & Azure

Optimized Inventory Performance: The Microsoft 365 inventory has been comprehensively revised. Targeted optimizations have significantly reduced resource consumption and improved stability when capturing large environments. Proxy configurations are now fully supported. The Azure inventory also benefits from optimizations and now delivers more complete and consistent results.

SNMP

Enhanced Device Compatibility: The processing of SNMPv3 jobs with larger IP ranges has been significantly improved. Vendor-specific inventory issues with HP, Cisco, Aruba, Fortigate and Sophos as well as errors with interface data and serial numbers have been resolved. The topology plan now displays devices from various vendors correctly, including improved VLAN mapping and port allocation.

AD Comparison Report

Extended Change Tracking: The AD comparison report allows you to track changes in Active Directory between two inventory points in time. The display of added and deleted computer accounts has been added.

Additional Bug Fixes

General Improvements: XEN inventory now supports XenServer 8.4. In addition, numerous improvements have been implemented in the areas of Windows and Linux inventory, permission analysis, topology plan and Docusnap Connect.
