New in Docusnap 14

  • Docusnap Overview/Data Quality Report: Now under Company → Infrastructure → Docusnap. This report analyzes data consistency, highlights outdated records, and enhances documentation for improved insights and completeness.

Improvements in Docusnap 14

Inventory

  • HPE Storage: Expanded collection of all relevant storage controller information at the port level.
  • IP System Assignment: Can now be done via DNS name or IPv4 address if the MAC address is missing.
  • Npcap: Updated to version 1.81 (20.02.2025).
  • Entra ID: In addition to Microsoft 365 data, Microsoft Intune data is now included in the Entra ID account.

Reports & Data Analysis

  • Scheduled Tasks: New columns “Company” and “Domain” improve usability for multi-client environments.
  • Infrastructure Reports: The data update scope now includes Nutanix & HPE Storage.
  • Topology Summary: New columns “Tagged & Untagged VLAN” and Port Description from IF-MIB (if available).

Feature Enhancements

  • Technology Editor: An editor area is now available for Nutanix Cluster, DFS, Veeam B&R, and HPE Storage.
  • Docusnap Connect: Added support for querying warranty information.
  • Autonomous Discovery Modules: Additional signature validation implemented.
  • Autonomous Inventory Modules: New parameter -w <path> to define the storage location for temporary data (not applicable to Windows Discovery).
  • Windows Batteries: Enhanced inventory for more detailed battery data.

Demo Tenant

  • Docusnap Sports AG: This demo tenant is now available in version “Docusnap 14.” Previous demo tenants will not be updated.
